Eagle Court of Honor for Tommy M.

Scouts and Parents,

This week we have 3 Scouts third year scouts:  Elijah Blaum, David Murray, and Ben Strickland participating in the National Youth Leadership Training.  They will finish their training this Saturday.  When you see them please congratulate our newest NYLT graduates.

13 Aug Scout Meeting begins at 6:00 pm.  We are having a gear round-up, cleaning and inspecting tents and sign-ups for Board of Review for rank advancements, checking merit badge status;  immediately followed by Tommie Midlo's Eagle Court of Honor which takes place from 7 to 8 pm.

Uniform for this Sunday's meeting and Eagle CoH is Class A uniform with badge sash, our new scouts will not have a sash yet.

16 Aug at 7:30 JLC we will be having our Troop Committee Meeting.  We need to reenergize this committee and bring new ideas to keep all of our scouts engaged.  We can't do this without each of your ideas.  See you Wednesday.

20 Aug No Scout Meeting!  Get ready for your 1st day of School Monday.  Board of Reviews will begin at 6:00pm.

27 Aug Troop 219 Court of Honor will take place at Joy Lutheran, for our new parents this will be similar to our "camp potluck".  Mr. Estes will be working with scouts who will be preparing Dutch Oven main dishes and desserts.  Please save the date.  More details to follow.
