Scouts & Parents,
Only 2-Scouts signed up for this weekend Eureka campout event.  This will be Fri-Sat...Mr Foster will lead.  Let me know if there's other scouts and adults interested. This is another opportunity to get those 100 below points.  Winter events haven't worked out so well for us this year. Let me know ASAP Wed-Thur if we have enough interest to make this happen.  Plus we'll prolly need an additional driver or two.  Let me know soonest, so I can coordinate with Mr Foster.  Thanks......

P. S.  Rocket building will take place this Sunday starting at 6:00 PM.

Hi, Everyone - Congratulations to all the Scouts who attended last
week's Rapids Camp winter camp out.  The temperatures dipped down to -1F
for a total of 33 points below freezing.  It's a great start to the
winter season.

We had a fun time in the snow and I'm very proud of how the Scouts
worked together in building their shelters (a.k.a - "forts" to the 1st
year Scouts).  I especially want to recognize Jake Herr in building his
first quinzee shelter and sleeping in it all night!

Thank you to Mrs. Shaw, Mr. Sellers, Mr. Strickland and Mr. Wing for
braving the event...we had a great time.
