- No regular Scout meeting this Sun 29 Jan & Sun 5 Feb-Super Bowl Sunday - PLC this Sunday 29 Jan @ 6 pm for ALL scouts in leadership positions. We'll plan next 2-months. ASM's welcome - Personal Management mb session 5-6 pm @ JLC this Sunday 29 Jan. This is for scouts that started PM mb at T219 MB Blitz. Troop 219 will be skiing this weekend at Alyeska. Carl Lundgren will be leading this event. Meet JLC at 8:30 AM Sunday morning & return around 5:30 PM. Please contact Carl Lundgren & myself if you can make it. Any boys wishing to work on the Snow Sports merit badge, please review the requirements online. We will need additional adult drivers to make this event a success. There will be a release form needed for rental gear so let Carl Lundgren know if required. YIS Lou Rivera-Murray Hi, Everyone- Below are a few details for this weekend's trip to Alyeska...please review the attached roster. Sign-up has closed. If you are on the list and will not be attending please let me know ASAP. The conditions at Alyeska are variable (between hard-packed snow and ice), and I would not recommend this trip for beginners or even those skiing for the second or third time. Attached are permission slips for the event (Troop 219, Alyeska Rental and Challenge Alaska). If your son is going on this troop event, please download, print, fill out the forms, sign them and bring them with you on Friday to the church. We are meeting at 5:30 PM Friday night at Joy Lutheran church to head out. Bring your ski /snowboard gear and overnight sleeping bag, pad, pillow & gear. The boys & adults will be spending Friday and Saturday night in the Challenge Alaska Ski Center...skiing all day Saturday…and returning home Sunday between 11-noon. The troop will supply Friday/Saturday night dinners & Saturday/Sunday morning breakfast. The boys are responsible for their own lunches. I will also need several drivers to help transport the boys to Alyeska and back. Please let me know if you can volunteer your time.
