Join me in congratulating Mr. Carl Lundgren who received the Eklutna District's highest award; he received the District Award of Merit. Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Weekend. Looking forward to seeing all of the scouts and families. There is no published schedule as the newly elected scouts will meet with adult leadership to plan some specific activities they would like to see during the upcoming months. Please join us at this weeks committee meeting if you have any new ideas you would like the troop to consider. Meeting information at the end of this email. You will most likely receive this email twice as the cc: listing is the new published email addresses. I am ensuring that the list I have been using matches the new one.

This Sunday at 6pm we will do our annual service project for Joy Lutheran....we will sweep all the church parking lots; front, back, & sides. We need max participation, so parents are always welcome to help. You'll need to bring push brooms, flat faced shovels, & wheelbarrows. A dusk mask & water bottle is helpful. This takes 1-1/2 to 2 hours to complete. We will also have leadership patches to hand out before-hand, plus don't forget to sign up on the troop rosters for upcoming events. Start > 6 pm ~ 8 pm YIS, Steve Puterbaugh SM, Troop 219 907-351-8826 |
